Department - Sales
The Account Executive I will work in a team selling environment beginning with an emphasis on qualifying prospects, then growing a book of accounts by achieving sales with new customers, add-on sales to existing customers, maintenance renewals and account management.
The VersionOne sales team sells our industry leading project management tool for agile development to Directors of Software Development and project management leaders in small to large enterprise corporations spanning all industry verticals.
The Account Executive I is responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle, such as:
- Effectively forecasting business
- Understanding customer’s needs, qualifying and managing leads
- Managing multiple customer trials through the evaluation process
- Effectively delivering presentations and high level demonstrations
- Balancing use of phone and email communication to maximize success
- Utilizing CRM to keep sales information and progress up to date
- Providing accurate and timely feedback to management on sales progress status
- Negotiating and closing sales opportunities to meet or exceed sales progress status
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills:
- At least 2 years of software sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- An understanding of selling over the phone in a fast-paced, high-growth software market
- A passion for consultative selling (selling a fit to customer needs, not just making a sale)
- An ability to make initial sale and provide proactive account management to grow the account
- An ability to work well in a team environment and partner with internal and external resources
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, listening skills, and communication skills
- Great customer skills; responsive, credible, consultative, knowledgeable
- Excellent time management skills
- Great aptitude and a passion to learn more everyday
- Experience leveraging MS Office and CRM (Salesforce a plus)
- Track record of achievement and being a top performer
- Experience working with software development methods or managing SD projects –or- Experience selling SD tools to software development VP’s, Directors and PMs
- A four year degree (BA/BS) is preferred

As our Creative Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a broad range of new marketing programs that include online projects (website design, microsites, ads, videos, email, etc.) and to a lesser degree print projects (ads, brochures, marketing collateral, etc.). With your creative mind, marketing enthusiasm and experienced design skills you’ll help conceptualize and execute innovative marketing programs and campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

This is an ideal role for an individual who has an SCM (software configuration management) engineer/support background but wants to expand their experience technically, and broaden their knowledge of application development lifecycle tools.
Responsibilities:
- Provide telephone, web conference and e-mail support for VersionOne product installation and platform integration issues
- Install, configure and maintain development and test environments for VersionOne integrations with a variety of third party applications
- Troubleshoot platform integration issues, which may include integration source code analysis/debugging and modification
- Manage customer communication and expectations
- Contribution to the product knowledge base and other support resources and participation in the VersionOne-Dev online forum
- Continual improvement of the technical support process
Qualifications:
